Ipswich Martial Arts (IMA) is owned and operated by a veteran (36 years in the Regular Army and multiple deployments). As an APSD school, IMA is a member of Martial Arts Australia, a peak industry body for Martial Arts in Australia. Our school is a certified instructor school and must adhere to an industry code of practices and ethics of business. We are also committed to continuous quality improvements.

We deliver Martial Arts (primarily Hapkido - Korean Combat Martial Art) and run self defence classes, including free courses that are delivered to the community in partnership with the Centenary Community Committee.

We strive to build our school culture around the concept of mateship. We also love to give back to the community and those around us who make sacrifices for our benefit. That's why we offer discounts to Veterans, serving ADF members and their families, firefighters, paramedics, ambulance workers, police and their families.
